Sewing machine classes & deeny taleem
Our project is for women and poor widows who have no means of supporting themselves and their families. The program gives them the training to learn how to use a sewing machine, as well as how to cut and make the clothing themselves. The training is given for 6 months. The sewing machine will be given to each student after completion of the course. The cost of each sewing machine plus training is £85.
The training also includes Islamic education for those that were not fortunate enough to have one. There are 2 teachers providing the training.
The sewing machine training centre running cost is approximately £1250/year. Please help and support this centre and hopefully one day these poor young girls will earn a living for themselves without relying on handouts. With your help we will succeed.

We have distributed goats to the poorest families. The goats produce milk, which is used for their own family and to sell to generate a sustainable daily income. They can rear them and maybe in months and years these families will hopefully stop relying on handouts and come out of the poverty trap. To provide someone with this life improving idea, it costs just £150 for 2 goats. Think of how much difference you can make to a poor family.
